A story in the Press-Enterprise highlights some of the difficulties real estate agents and consumers are having when it comes time to refinance or sell a home with a HERO or PACE loan. The Property Assessed Clean Energy, or PACE, program upgrades include HERO loans. Do you know how to turn off the gas?

In light of the recent earthquake, do you know how to turn off the gas? I remember the direction by saying, "You only need to see the red (cross) + in an emergency"--the "+" is the direction of the shut off valve to turn off the gas.
